Booking Policy

Everything you need to know before securing your appointment with us.

Governing Legal Framework

This Booking Policy operates under the Consumer Protection Act 2075 B.S. (2018 A.D.), the Electronic Transaction Act 2063 B.S. (2006 A.D.) (for online and digital bookings), and the Muluki Civil Code 2074 B.S.(contract formation provisions). A confirmed booking constitutes a binding contract between you and Glow & Grace.

1. How to Book

Appointments can be made through any of the following channels:

Under the Electronic Transaction Act 2063 B.S., online bookings and digital confirmations carry the same legal validity as written agreements.

2. Booking Confirmation

Your appointment is not confirmeduntil you receive a written confirmation from Glow & Grace via WhatsApp message or email. Please allow up to 24 hours for confirmation during business hours.

If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us directly. We are not responsible for unconfirmed bookings that were not followed up.

3. Deposit Requirements

Standard Single Service Appointments

Deposits are generally not required for standard single-service appointments. However, a deposit may be required during peak seasons — Dashain, Tihar, Teej, wedding season (Magh–Chaitra), and other festival periods. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking.

Bridal & Package Bookings

A 30% non-refundable deposit of the total package value is required to confirm all bridal and package bookings. This deposit must be paid within 48 hours of receiving your booking confirmation. Failure to pay within this window will result in the time slot being released.

Group Bookings (4 or more)

Group bookings require a 50% deposit and must be confirmed at least 2 weeksin advance. A dedicated booking coordinator will be assigned to manage your group's requirements.

4. Arrival & Punctuality

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for a brief health consultation and to settle in comfortably.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened service, as we cannot overrun into other clients' booked time. Where a late arrival means we cannot provide the full service, no refund or credit will be issued for the time lost.

If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please notify us in advance. We may at our discretion reschedule your appointment, subject to availability.

5. Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled free of charge with more than 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling within 48 hours is subject to an admin fee of NPR 500. Full rescheduling terms are in our Cancellation Policy.

6. Bridal Consultations & Trials

We strongly recommend a bridal trial at least 4–6 weeks before your wedding date. Trials are a separate chargeable service and must be booked independently. The trial price is not included in your bridal package unless explicitly stated.

A consultation (free of charge) is available prior to booking to help us understand your vision, skin type, and cultural requirements.

7. Age Requirements

Clients under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must give verbal consent before any service commences.

Clients under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent for chemical treatments including hair colour, keratin, lash tints, brow tints, and nail extensions.

This is consistent with our obligations under the Children's Act 2075 B.S. (2018 A.D.) and general duty of care principles.

8. Guest Policy

To ensure a calm and professional environment for all clients, we ask that:

  • Accompanying guests be limited to one person per client
  • Children under 10 not be brought to appointments unless they are themselves receiving a service
  • Guests remain in designated waiting areas and do not enter service areas during treatments
